The eLearning approach
Our flexible eLearning framework recognises the needs of our geographically diverse membership, as well as the typically significant demands on your time. RACS’ eLearning platform is designed to encourage both individual and collaborative learning, providing expertise and guidance, technical support and access to valuable educational resources.
eLearning courses and resources
RACS has developed a range of online courses to support career progression and lifelong learning from prevocational doctor to Fellow, as well as specialist international medical graduates (SIMGs) who wish to practice in Australia. Covering a wide range of topics and fundamental non-technical skills, with adult learning principles at the forefront, these modules are a mix of self-directed and blended learning, with progress being saved to support, promote and facilitate learning opportunities in busy schedules and diverse locations. Topics include examination preparation, cultural safety, orientation for SIMGs, and training for examiners and supervisors, and have been aligned to the RACS ten competencies.
The RACS eLearning platform is accessible from a wide range of devices and browsers, and encourages both individual and collaborative learning, with many of the courses attracting CPD.
