The Professional Development team is pleased to announce a new online course, Facilitating Online.

As working and learning online have become more prevalent over the past few years, facilitating online has become a critical workplace skill.

This course has been designed to help develop and hone online facilitation skills for those delivering training, preparing for a seminar, or hosting online meetings. It is self-paced and includes demonstrations, facilitation strategies, tips, checklists and templates.
 
Members of the College (Fellows, Trainees or Specialist International Medical Graduates) can complete the course at no cost, earning two CPD points addressing the RACS competency, Scholarship and teaching.

Facilitating Online comprises four modules and takes one to two hours to complete.

Core learnings include:
1) strategies and considerations to effectively prepare for a webinar or online session
2) strategies to effectively set up your online facilitation environment
3) strategies for creating a welcoming and inclusive online environment to ensure an optimal online experience for participants
4) how to structure online sessions for maximum engagement and create effective slide decks.
